Hi-Tec Profiles Inc. Honoured to Be Silver Sponsor of Adam Herold Legacy Foundation

For Immediate Release

Regina, SK – September 23, 2025 – Hi-Tec Profiles Inc., a locally owned leader in steel processing services is investing in Saskatchewan’s future by becoming a Silver sponsor of the Adam Herold Legacy Foundation.

This three-year Silver sponsor partnership displays the shared commitment of both organizations to developing leadership, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles for young people in rural Saskatchewan.

“We were approached by Trent Meyer, President, Hi-Tec Profiles Inc., regarding their organization getting involved with the Foundation. Hi-Tec Profiles Inc. has been very supportive of our family since the accident, and it was great to hear they wanted to support the Foundation. They are a locally owned Saskatchewan company that is focused on rural Saskatchewan. In discussions with Trent and his Team at Hi-Tec, we found they share the same values of leadership, team-building, and exercise for our young people,” said Russell Herold, Chairman of the Board of the Adam Herold Legacy Foundation.

“The goal of the Foundation is to develop young leaders in our rural communities, and we found Hi-Tec Profiles were very much aligned with this goal. Our Board is really looking forward to working with Hi-Tec Profiles over the next three years to enhance the abilities of these young leaders.”

“The entire program the Foundation has put together is so meaningful. The professional hockey instruction is great for attracting the kids, and the professional training on Leadership, Team Building, and Healthy lifestyles, makes the program tremendously important to rural Saskatchewan.” said Trent Meyer, President, Hi-Tec Profiles Inc.

“Through the Foundation’s work, we will continue to see strong leadership development  in rural Saskatchewan and we wanted to be part of this process!” commented Meyer.

“Our team at Hi-Tec Profiles looks forward to working with the Foundation over the next three years.”

About the Adam Herold Legacy Foundation.

The Foundation was established following the tragic Humbolt Bus Crash on April 6, 2018. Adam Herold was the youngest person on the bus to lose his life that day. The Herold family, along with close friends and relatives wanted to continue Adam’s legacy following the accident.

Adam was a tremendous athlete and leader on his teams and in the community. He was born and raised in Montmartre, Saskatchewan, a small rural community southeast of Regina.

The family believed rural children did not necessarily receive the same opportunities as urban children and as such the Foundation focuses on 3 rural communities per year.

The Foundation organizes 3 days of professional instruction on Hockey, Leadership, Team Building, and Exercise. The chosen communities are not required to pay for the 3-day camps but are asked to fundraise to “pay it forward” to the next community. Other funding for the professional instructors come from corporate donations such as Ritchie Bros. and individual donations. To date, 19 rural communities have been served.
